Toejam & Earl. The two baby Jackdaws I found alone, fell out of their nest on the road. Unable to walk yet, and hobbling around frantically. I took them in and cared for them, feeding them on dog food and meal worms for a couple of months.

Very friendly and intelligent creatures. Very social and characteristic. 

One morning, when they were old enough to fly around properly, a flock of young Jackdaw flew into the field, ToeJam & Earl immediately took notice and flew off of my shoulders the greet them - That's the last I ever saw of them, no goodbyes, they just flew off that morning to be with their kind. Instinct took over and my job was done. They flew the nest.

That's where 'Double Jackdaw' gets it's name.
